Show lllcmlu Cninpbell TROPIC - Blenda Campbell, 71, of Provo, formerly of Tropic, died Thursday Jan. 29, 1981 at Utah Valley Hospital after an illness. She was born Aug. 2, 1909 in Tropic to Joseph D. and Sarah Elizabeth Willis Shakespeare. She was married to Gilbert L. Campbell Aug. 20, 1934 in the St. George LDS Temple. He died in Sept. 1974. She moved to Provo, in 1963 and was active in the Relief Society as a visiting teacher and nursery leader. Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Delma) Syndergaard of Tooele; Mrs. Roger (Vida) Whiting; Provo; two sons, Lionel J. Campbell, Burnell R. Campbell, Provo; 19 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, three brothers, Alston W. Shakespeare, LeRoy Shakespare, both of Tropic ; Dwlght Shakespeare, Spring-ville; one sister, Mrs. Glenn (Irene) Lowder, Springville; one son, Evan Campbell, preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Monday in Provo. Additional sevices and burial were held in Tropic on Tuesday Feb. 3. Mary Muiigmii HATCH - Mary Elizabeth Bridges Burke Mangum, age 70, of Hatch died Feb. in a Panguitch hospital of natural causes. Born Jan. 15, 1911, in Aurora to Worthy Franklin and Lydia Hilda King Bridges. She was married to Donald Lenza Burke. He died in 1928. She later married, Squiare Newton Mangum in 1933. He passed away April 12, 1977. Mrs. Mangum was active in the LDS Church. She lived in many places including Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona and Utah. Her last four years were spent in Hatch. While living in St. George, she worked for Snow Cleaners. Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Newel Idona Dutton, Monroe, and Mrs. Doyle Afton Hancock, Hatch; three sons, James Newton Mangum, Las Vegas; Goerge Marvin Mangum, West Pittsburg, Calif.; and Val Dean Mangum, I Odessa, Texas; six brothers, Dee Bridges ! and Carlos Bridges, California; George Bridges, Glendale; Frank Bridges, Portland, Ore.; Freeman Bridges, Las Vegas, Nev.; four sisters, Mrs. Henry Hilda Bar, Rio Linda, Calif.; Mrs. Merle Nona Banta, Sacramento, Calif.; Mrs. Jess Crystal Alger, Enterprise; Mrs. William Jimmy Marciel, Hayfork, Calif.; thirty grand children and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 12 at 10 a.m. in the Hatch j LDS Ward chapel. Friends may call for viewing one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Minersville Cemetery, graveside services at 2:30 p.m. under direciton of Spilsbury and Graff mortuary. CARD OF THANKS Dear Relatives, Friends and Neighbors, We, the family of Terrill Haws, wish to express our thanks and gratitude to each and everyone of you for all your kindnesses and help during our time of sorrow. To be surrounded by your love and concern so quickly and completely was simply overwhelming. It would take much too long to thank all of you individually but we want you to know that your cards, food, flowers, letters, money, phone calls, visits and prayers will not soon be forgotten.
