Show Henrieville We have had rain nearly every day and on Monday hail hit hard up the creek and we had a tremendous flood down the creek that washed out the south side of the bridge for about 23 feet. Also one of the wings was broken off, Rocky Oliver had his right knee hurt so Ann Nydegger and son took him to a specialist in Orem. He is staying at the Jeff Johnson home until , his knee heals. Ellis and Arvella Johnson have come from Phoenix, Ariz., they went north to visit some family members. Daughter, Norma came back with them and her husband came from Bountiful and took her home. The Johnsons will return to Arizona and stay with son Keith for the winter. Dorian and Mary Johnson and Ken and Connie Allen and two older sons went north to bring Ken and Connie's furniture here. Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Willis and Mr. and Mrs. David Rose went to the temple in St. George and then visited with Her-schel Partner in the hospital, where he Is recovering from three different surgeries. Harry Partner is home and on the improve. The Ralph Chynoweth family presented the program prior to son Brett going into the army. Collin and Laurie Rose and girls of Annabella visited here and got apples for canning, Everyone is pleased with the amount of fruit and don't like to see it wasted. Loreli Rose and Debra Clark, also the Verland Roses made trips into Salt Lake City. They visited in Hunter with brother Theron and family. The Guy Thompson family spent several days at the State Fair. Amon Barker and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Barker of Monroe went to Ogden to the funeral services, for their sister MariUa Banford. The Anon Barker family and Edith's sister Mona Rae and Clarence Twitchell of Antimony went to Mesa Verde, Colo, to the indian ruins. They also met Edith's parents there. Frankie Moore has been transferred and is now in Torquoy, Devon County, England. Moyle Johnson spent the weekend in Page with Lloyd LeFevre. Carolyn Johnson and grandson spent the weekend at son, Jeff's home to see the new grandson. Shanna Gloulding had son Rob and family here for the weekend. The June Neilson family held their first reunion. Frank Moore celebrated his 80th day on Sept. 7 in Garfield ; Hospital. They made him ! a cake. The John Morton I family brought Roxie home. |
