Show UEFORE THE HOARD OF OIL, GAS AND MINING, DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES, In and for the STATE OF UTAH IN THE MATTER OF THE AMENDMENT OF THE GENERAL RULES AND GOVERNING THE CONSERVATION OF OIL AND GAS IN UTAH NOTICE OF HEARING CAUSE NO. 190-3 THE STATE OF UTAH TO ALL OPERATORS, TAKERS OF PRODUCTION MINERAL AND ROYALTY OWNERS AINU uihlk rrnovji-MO IN THE STATE OF UTAH INTERESTED IN DRILLING FOR AND THE PRODUCTION OF OIL AND OR GAS: Under the provisions of Chapter 6, Title 40, Utah Code Annotated, 1953, the Board of Oil, Gas and Mining is given authority to make rules and regulations and amend them from time to time as deemed necessary for the proper administration of the Oil and Gas Conservation Act. Notice is hereby given that the Division of Oil, Gas and Mining has prepared a tentative set of amendments and revisions to the General Rules and Regulations covering the following described areas: 1) Where applicable, all current rules and regulations will be amended by substituting "Board" and or "Division" in lieu of "Commission". 2) Rule C-ll will be deleted and a new Rule I-1 UNDERGROUND INJECTION CRITERIA AND STANDARDS adopted. This regulation is being considered for adoption for the purpose of establishing a portion of "Utah's Underground Injection Program" as required by the Safe Drinking Water Act, PL 93-523 as amended by PL 95-190, and the Rules and Regulations thereunder. 3) Rule C-27 is a proposed new rule to curtail the flaring of gas. 4) Suggested amendments to any other rule or regulation will be con- A hearing will beheld sidered for adoption, on said amendments and additions on Thursday, March 26, 1981, at 9:00 a.m ., in the Wildlife Resources Auditorium, 1596 West North Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah, at which hearing, suggestions as to the adoption, amendment, and addition to such changes or any other changes will be heard.
