Show Hatch Happenings Reva Lowder Mr. and Mrs. Bill Duckett, California, visited the Lamar Barneys. Doug Berry was rushed to the Panguitch hospital last week. He was hemoraging internally. They gave him three pints of blood then rushed him by ambulance to LDS hospital in Salt Lake City for tests. He was transferred to the Veterans Hospital. He is waiting for surgery. His wife Aurora and daughter Michelle followed the ambulance to Salt Lake Citv in their car. Jim Hackbath went to Fillmore, then to Salt Lake City to visit his son-in-law, Doug in the Veterans Hospital and to bring Michelle back for school. Last week the E. F. Tureks visited in Cedar City with Kay and Kristen Winn and Ed had a checkup by his doctor there. Then they spent a few days in St. George where Ed had a checkup with a specialist. They also attended sessions in the temple and visited in Washington with Ada Nordell and the Wynn Tureks. Mr. and Mrs. Garth Heap spent a few days in St. George attending sessions in the temple. They also visited Joe Barnhrust and Laura Pendleton. Hope and Grant Dalton had a birthday dinner at the Bruce Daltons in Panguitch in honor of Hope's birthday. Friday the Bernell Crofts visited the Daltons and took them to the ball game in Panguitch. Hope and Grant met the Gib darks, Kanab, at the Bernell Crofts in Orderville. They had dinner together. Marie Pollock, Tropic visited the Karl Lowders and Velta Sawyer. Velta accompanied her to Kanab to visit friends. Attending a quilting party at the senior citizens center in Panguitch were Maggie Barnhurst, Hope Dalton, Theora Heap and Ruth Wilson. Mr. and Mrs. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Wilhelm went to Las Vegas on business. Maggie Barnhurst accompanied them as far as LaVerkin where she visited relatives. May Sawyer went to Cedar City, Arta Elmer came back with her. Then her parents, the James Elmers and Jane and Brian Garrard, Panguitch visited the Sawyers and took Arta home. |
