Show Escalante Chit Chat Fay Aivey Jim Aivey and family of Mapleton brought me home to take it easy for 6 weeks. Eva Dean Listen came with us to visit her parents, the Ray Griffins who are ill. Veda Mitchell is in the Cedar City Hospital recovering from hip surgery. Martha Twitchell is in Richfield still having problems with her hip surgery. She is staying with the Rotis Colemans. Rol Porter is in the Utah Valley Hospital, his son Vergean got word to come as pneumonia had set in. Alvin Cowles came from Salt Lake City and took Daniel and Orilla back to visit family members there and in Wyoming. Orilla had some leg problems and had to walk on crutches. Nelda Willis was in Beaver caring for daughter, Garna Mclnelly, while she overcome the flu. Millie Mclnelly went to Richfield to baby sit while grandson, Jeremy had his tonsils out. Leah Griffin and Jay Porter went to Provo to help the family celebrate the 80th birthday anniversary of their mother, Mary Porter. Dee and Elda Haws celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at home. Jane Woolsey had a visit from Roe and Clema Barney and part of their family from Page. Ruth and Curly Hale made a brief stop here. He is working in the Moab area. Lucinda Duncan of Cedar City visited at the Melvin Aivey home. The Arden Taylors have a new grand- daughter born to the Jerry Taylors in Salt Lake City. Terrill Haws came from Las Vegas for the weekend. Claron and Ruby Griffin came home from their winter retreat, but left the Gail Baileys in Arizona, Donna became ill and underwent surgery. Bill and Dawn Griffin went to Price to watrch grandson, Brink, wrestle. Burns Ormond had been to Wyoming and brought his Spencer grandkids, Jennifer and Jason to visit the Verge Spencers. The Robert Woolsey family put on the program in Sacrament meeting Sunday. LaRue Spencer gathered up other council members and went to Cedar City for a Five county meeting. When you have an operation and think you're very strong, if your mileage is real high some other organ could go wrong. |
