Wayne Banks is in the Garfield Memorial hospital healing from injuries received when he fell off a roof and rolled down the basement steps. Zella Alvey and son Tom spent the weekend in Oak City. Ivan and Nelda Willis had son, Lowell, and part of his family here. The Don Colemans were made grandparents by the birth of a son to Joyce and Tim Kelly of Kanab. Lillian went there to care for mother and son. Lee Bolton came to run the 66 station, and moved into the house close by. Klyn and Marlene Haws had Rick, Randy, Terrill, Patrice and Brent here for the weekend. The Warren Woolseys of Cedar City visited at the Dale Marsh home. The LaVern Griffins had son, Eldon and family of Kanab. The Arnold Alveys had daughter, Raylene, here from Richfield and Helen and Bob O'Neal from Tulsa, Okla. Dee Nelson of Vale Oregon came home with Maureen Munson for the weekend. He is a student at BYU. Dick and Margean Schow, Tom and Merle Davenport, visited relatives. Twila Mclnelly had Grena Searle and family are here from Cedar City. The Vernon Spencers had daughter Camille here from Provo. The Smith Alveys had son, Johnny, Irene Tait and son home. The Talts are moving to Orem. Roe Barney of Page 1 met his brother, Mack, of Cedar City to hunt this area. Jo came with Mack to visit the Berlin Osborns. Jim and Janet Spencer and family of Orem came for the weekend. Cook Liston had son Lee here from St George, he brought two of his stepsons to see the country. Clarice Griffin had son, Clem and part of his familv from Murray. The Stan Haycocks had daughter, Janls, home from her job in Salt Lake City. The Hal Spencers are here from Las Vegas. The Special Interest group met at the home of Minnie Davis to serve pot luck supper in honor of her birthday. "Have a nice day", you hear it said, so maybe just for fun, you could answer, "No Thanks, I've planned a lousy one." |
