Show Panguitch Patter Nancy Bales 676-2706 The wife of our hard working Garfield County Commissioner, George Middleton, is spending a short time in a Salt Lake hospital. We sure do miss your smiling face and sweet disposition, so hurry home, somebody has to get George to stop hammering so late into the night! Mr. and Mrs. George Proctor made a trip north to visit with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Proctor, Orem; Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Whiting, Clearfield and Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Barlow of Salt Lake City. The highlight of this particular trip was getting acquainted with their 21st grandchild, a baby boy born to the Barlows. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Osterud of Tooele and Mrs. Doris Rappelye of Kearns visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Myers and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Walker. Mr. and Mrs. Reid Judd traveled to Lander, Wyo. and were accompanied by daughter, Elaine Heap of Orem. While in Wyoming their son, J.R. Judd, was made bishop of the Lander Wyoming Second Ward. J. R. is a former resident of Panguitch, graduating from Panguitch High School. His wife is the former Eleanor Lee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Lee. Mr. and Mrs. Jake Bagnell and son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Bagnell with daughter, Katrina, I traveled to Posey Lake for a restful, sun filled day and some good dutch oven cooking. The Sherrell Reids of San Diego, Calif, spent a week with his mother, Mary Reid and also visited with many friends in the area. They later spent one week In Delta with Sharon's family before returning home. Mrs. Darlene Pierson and family enjoyed a visit from her mother who was able to escape from her store in Antimony for a short visit. |
