Show NOTICE TO CONTRACTOR'S Sealed bids will be received by PANGUITCH CITY CORPORATION, OWNERS for the General Construction including the Mechanical Work, the Electrical Work and Pool Construction Equipment, for a new Indoor Swimming Pool. Bids will be in accordance with drawings and specifications prepared by John S. Rowley, Architect, and same may be obtained from the Architect upon receipt of $50.00 deposit per set, made payable to the Architect and which deposit will be refunded upon return of such drawings and specifications in good condition within ten (10) days of the date set for the Bid Opening. Prequalification of bidders is required. Prior to any bidder receiving drawings and specifications, it will be necessary that he have on file with the Architect or the Owner, completed and approved, a prequalification statement pertaining to Contractor's experience and financial conditions. Bids will be received until the hour of 7:30 p.m., November 8, 1977. At which time they will be opened and read aloud in the Court Room of the Garfield County Courthouse. A Bid Bond in the amount of five (5 pet) percent of the bid payable to Panguitch City Corporation, shall accompany each bid. If certified or cashier's check is used in lieu of Bid Bond, a certificate from an approved Surety Company guaranteeing execution of a 100 pet Performance Bond and 100 pet Payment Bond must accompany bid. The Contractor, will be required to provide 10O. pet Performance and 1W pet Payment Bonds. The Contractor will be required to comply with the follow EDA (Economic Development Administration) requirements. (1) Expend at least 10 pet of the Contract with minority business enterprises, (2) DO NOT employ illegal aliens, (3) utilize only products of the United States and (4) give special consideration to the employment of Veterans. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the owner. All laborers, workmen, mechanics and apprentices employed on this project shall be paid not less than the General Prevailing Wage Rates as set forth in the current Wage Schedules of the Utah State Industrial Commission or U.S. Department of Commerce whichever is higher.
