Show Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Hatch Richfield Couple To Note 50th Date Mr. and Mrs. Vernon H. Hatch will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house Saturday, Nov. 5, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Richfield First Ward Cultural Hall, Second West and Fourth South. The couple requests no gifts. They were married Nov. 3, 1927, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr, Hatch was born Oct. 20, 1903, in Tropic to John Henry and Ethel , Reynolds Hatch. He worked for Utah Railroad Co. in the Carbon County area for many years. For 22 years he was employed by Georgia-Pacific Gypsum in Sigurd. Mrs. Hatch (Pearl Mower) was born Aug. 6, 1907, in Fairview to Hyrum D. and Catherine Ann Mills Mower. Both have been active in the LDS Church. Mrs. Hatch has worked in the Relief Society, including president of the Richfield First Ward. Mr, Hatch served as assistant Tropic Ward clerk and was superintendent of the MIA in Richfield First Ward. Both have been active as temple workers at the Manti Temple. They are parents of seven children: Cornell, Ross, both Richfield; Mrs. Louis (Shirley) Redondo, Mesa, Ariz.; Guy, Spanish Fork; Dale, Gunnison; Mrs. Edgar (Pearl) Duston, grant-sville; Mrs. Robert (Catherine Ann) Mem-mott, North Las Vegas, Nev. They have 33 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. All friends and relatives are invited. |
