Show Poor Local TV Receptiryi Investigated At the last Panguitch City council meeting a petition was turned in by a number of Panguitch City residents who are dissatisfied with their TV service. The councilmen checked with Cliff Meyers, city TV maintenance man; Kent Parson, Monroe, in charge of the translators in southern Utah and Nelt Davis, an expert from University of Utah. They received confirmation from each stating that the problem is skip which is caused from our TV antennas on the home picking up signals from other stations, primarily norths western United States and Canada. These people are looking into the possibility of changing to a higher frequency which will require authorization from the Federal Communication Commissioner. |
