Show Hatch Woman Honored On 80th Date Aug. 19 HATCH A reception honoring Abigail Clove Fallis on her 80th birthday anniversary was held Thursday at the Hatch Ward Cultural Hall by her seven children. Featured was an Art and Handicraft exibit compiled by the family. The tables were decorated with lace table covers and floral bouquets of colorful gladiolus, roses and dalilias, chosen to harmonize with the color scheme of her dress. Five of her seven children were in attendence including her son, Arvel, Fallon, Nev. and daughters, Mrs. Idonna Deuel, Hatch; Mrs. Francis (Elaine) Simons, Ma canon, Ida; Mrs. LaVerne Balckburn, Sunset, and Mrs. Thayne (Dorothy) Imlay. Her two children not attending were Mrs. Stanley T. (Julia) Wise, West Point and Mark, Salt Lake City. Also attending the reception were her three brothers, NeU Gove, Panguitch and Oliver Huntington and Wiley Huntington, Hatch and their wives and a sister, Florence Heaton. Refreshemnts were served by Francis Simons, Anita Fallis and George Cook and Laura Simons and La Rett a Lowder. A program was presented with a dinner following the reception. The program featured a life sketch of Mrs. Fallis in verse prepared by her daughter, Julia Wise and presented by Elaine Simons. Musical and dance numbers were rendered and alM a poeUc Abigail Fallis |
