Show Frank Dolys Will Note Golden Wedding Aug. 28' Mr. and Mrs. Frank R. Daly of Panguttch will be celebrating their golden wedding an niveriary Aug. 28 at the Panguitch Middle School from 7 to 10 a.m. Mrs. Daly was born In panguitch to Nathen and Ann Doois Cooper, July 23, 1904. She was reared In Panguitch and graduated from the Garfield High School and Brigham Young University. She has been very active In the LDS Church, working In all the organizations in the ward and also in the State i Mutual. She has been a Sunday School teacher for 43 years and taught in the Panguitch schools for 43 years. She has received the honorary Golden Gleaner Pin. 1 She has been very community minded belonging to several clubs including the Lady Lions and the Business Womens Professional club. She has helped with the Red Cross and many of the other charity drives. Mr. Daly was born in Panguitch to James T. and Ellen Riding Daly Sr. September 26, 1904. He has been very musically minded participated in the Donsante, the Yellow Jackets, King Tut Syncopaters and other orchestras. He has been a scouter for over 30 years and received the silver Beaver. He is serving as an executive board member of tlie National Park Council of Boy Scouts of America. He has been very active In the LDS Church. He has been In the bishopric in the South Ward and is a High Priest. He is the oldest Lions club member in Panguitch in years and also in years of membership. He is a registered pharmacist and worked for many years in the drug store in Panguitch. He worked for the Utah State Fish and Game as a conservation officer for 30 years during this time he was president of the Trl-State Peace Officers and also the Southern Utah Peace Officers. He is currently secretary and treasurer of the Panguitch Cemetery Maintenance district since 1952. They were married November 26, 1926 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They had no children, but have had many children in their home. Their nieces and nephews are holding their 50th wedding anniversary open house a little early because they will all be in school in November. For the past four years they have been officiaters at the St. George LDS Temple and spent a great deal of time In the LDS temples performing ordinance work since their retirement. In honor of this occasion they extend an invitation for all friends and relatives to celebrate with them their golden anniversary. They request no gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Daly |
