Show PANGUITCH CITY COUNCIL ACTIVITIES The Panguitch City Council meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at the Courthouse. The meetings are open to the public. At the October meeting the following business was accomplished: It was reported that Juveniles were being allowed to punch for prizes on punch boards in some business places In Panguitch. The City Police were instructed to correct this situation. Library hours are to be from 2 to 6 on Tuesdays and Fridays and from 5 to 9 on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. It Is hoped this will give the young people a place to study In the evenings. The scheduling of the room at the City Fire Station was discussed. It was decided to let people use It without cost until the first of he year and then decide on as minimal fee as is necessary. Beautification Plans were tabled until next month, (continued on back page) CITY COUNCIL ACTIVITIES (continued from front page) The streets of the Emll Norton development are to be cheked for grade, etc. It was voted that delinquent Main Lino water connection fees must be paid by November first. If they are not paid the water will be turned off and there will be a $2 fee charged to have the water turned on again. It was voted to donate $500 to the Lions Club toward the purchase of $1,500.00 worth of Christmas lights. |
