Show BASKETBALL The Panguitch Bobcats turned on the steam in the second half to trounce Valley's Buffaloes 58 to 49 on Valley's floor at Orderville last Friday. Valley led 13 to 10 at the end of the first quarter, but Pangu- j itch held a slim one point lead at the half 23 to 22. Allen hit for 24 points and Sawyer for I 12 to top the 'Cats point pro- I ductlon. Burrows 14 and Hoyt 13 led Buffalo scoring. At Tropic, the hometown Bryce Valley Mustangs played the Piute Thunderbirds with the loop-leading 'Birds dominating from the start, leading 19 to 10 at the end of the first quarter and Increasing that lead everv quarter to a final score of 82 to 44. McEwen with 20 and Blackwell with 15 led Piute scoring while Richards 9. SHth and Reynolds, each 8 led Mustang scoring. |
