Show Local and Society LADY LIONS MEET ENJOY TRAVEL SLIDE SHOW The Panguitch Lady Lions Club met Monday evening, January 10th at the Country Corner Cafe with fifteen members and two guests present. The tables were beautifully decorated with a patriotic red-white-and-blue motif dominating. After a business discussion led by club president Beverly Crosby the time was turned over to Afton Church who entcrtain6d with a fascinating slide-illustrated travel talk on her recent trip to Europe and extended stay In Germany. ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED Mr. and Mrs. James D. Perkins announce the engagement of their daughter, Nellyn, to Mr. Floyd C. Cox, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Houston of Salt Lake City. Miss Perkins is a graduate of L.D.S. Business College and Is presently employed at the L. D.S. Primary Children's Hospital. The couple will be married February 5th, 1972, and a reception will be held In their honor In the Seminary Building In Panguitch that evening. Pat Reed, not Alta Yardley, as previously reported, Is the Panguitch chairman for the March of Dimes. FRANDSEN-HATCH iL ..... . - .' Mrs. Stephen Will lam Hatch Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Frandsen announce the marriage of their daughter Deanna to Stephen William Hatch, son of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Hatch of Sdpio, Utah. The bride has attended Southern Utah State College and is now employed with Cameo Sportswear In Panguitch. Her husband Is a graduate of both Snow College and Utah State University, and Is now employed with Farm Home Administration in Panguitch. A reception to which everyone Is invited will be held in their honor from eight until ten in the evening of Saturday, January 29. 1972, at the L.D.S. Seminary In Panguitch. |
