Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS Paul Steed, Escalante, Utah has filed with the State Engineer Appl. No. 40960 (97-1480) to appropriate 6.0 sec. ft. of water in Garfield County, State of Utah. The water is to be diverted from two 16-inch wells 500-1000 ft. deep at the following points: (1) N. 1300 ft. & E. 100 ft. from W Cor. Sec. 2, T36S, R3E, SLB&M. (2) N. 20 ft & E. 250 ft. from SW Cor. Sec. 2, T36S, R3E, SLB&M; and used for the stockwatering of 400 cattle, and used from Apr. 1 to Oct. 31 for the irrigation of 320.0 acs. in SWNWtt, SW H Sec. 2, T36S, R3E, SLB&M; NHNWU Sec. 11, T36S, R3E, SLB&M. Protests resisting the granting of this application with reasons herefor must be filed in duplicate with the State Engineer, 442 State Capitol, Salt Lake City, Utah 84114 on or before January 22, 1972.
