Show ' Hatch Happening $f' BY REVA LOWDER - - -DUP meeting was held at the home of Velma Huntington Thursday. The Lesson was given by Reva Lowder. The ladies worked on a quilt. Refreshments were served by Velma. Hope Dalton had a kitchen ware party Friday. Judy Davis of Panguitch was a guest. Judy and children visited the Gale Wilcocks that day and Saturday, also attended a birthday dinner Jan. 13 fpr Gale. Gale left Thursday for Bear Lake for a week on Fish and Game business. The Norman Hendersons of Kanab visited here Thursday to Saturday. They took Tanya Christian and Lisa to Cedar, Susan stayed with Mrs. Wll-cock. Diane Haney of Cedar spent the weekend home, her parents took her back Sunday. The Wayne Harris' of Glen-dale visited the Haneys Saturday. Speakers in meeting Sunday were Stake visitors Donald Whittaker and Kern Owens. Mrs. Owens accompanied her husband here. The Bert Barnhursts and baby visited Sunday with the Orson Barnhursts and attended church. Tamcra Veater of Pangultch visited the Daltons Sunday. Pamela Dalton visited overnight Friday in Parowan with the Roy Stubbs, Wayne brought her homo and visited overnight Saturday. LaVal Sawyer was home for the weekend from his Job in Dixie. The Lloyd Christensens are home from there after spending, some time while he had employment. Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Turek visited In Washington with the Wynn Turcks and spent some time at the St. George Temple. Wiley Huntington went to the St. George Temple Friday then brought Lynne Huntington and Kerry Sawyer home for the weekend. The David Sawyers took them back to college Sunday. Karl Wilson, Rose Elaine Deuel, Del Barnhurst and Stanley Huntington of SUSC were home for the weekend. Karleta Rlggs of Pangultch .visited the Karl Lowders Friday. Mrs. Pat Dix and four children of Pangultch visited the Oliver Huntingtons Sunday and attended church with them. The Huntingtons received word of another great granddaughter born in Arlington, Texas on Jan. 13 to Leon and Marlene Cooley; the Dar-ol Allreds are the proud grandparents. The LaMar Barneys went to Richfield Saturday. Idonna Deueli visited in Cedar one day last week. Jerry. Riggs of St. George visited his folks, the Orlas 'Rlggs, on Tuesday. .(Bill Duckett returned home la5t week from Calif, and -brought his aunt here to visit. Vllate Barney is in the Pangultch hospital with pneumonia. LaPrele Pollock of Tropic visited the Jesse Wilsons Sun- day and Valerie Shurtz of Cedar visited the Wiley Huntingtons. Gary and Kirk Evans of Las Vegas and Sam Evans of St. George visited in town Monday. Gai Wllcock, Tanya Christian and Mrs. O. Huntington visited the John Mcchams in Tropic on Monday. The Jay Duttons of Frcdo-nla visited Sunday -with Mar-cie Dutton. |
