Show Tropic Topics BY ELLA ADAIR The annual Fashion show presented by the Home Ec. department will be May 20 at 8 p.m. in the school gym. The public is invited to atted. Ethel Twltchell, Ricky By-bee, Lisa LeFevre, Kim Bush-nell and Joann Rose, accompanied by Mrs. Ella Adair, received awards in an art contest at a dinner held in Salt Lake on May 19th. Leola Ott had a visit from her sisters Zenda and LaVerda and daughter Gall last week. Kelley and Louie Shaekspear, Karen Clark, Ora Brinkerhoff, Lela Rae Pollock, Scott Mech-am, Wade Ramsay, Scott, Carma and Larraine Barton had birthdays this week. A shower for Cheryle Pollock was given by Peggy Palmer and Judy Chynoweth. Lois and Warren Frazler and son visited the Ernest Ahl-stroms last week. Ardell and the Ivor Rlggs family, Francis and Dian Porter visited Viva and the Malen Mechams during the week. Dor and Norma Hatch brought Ethel Hatch home from Grantsville. Bud Mecham was home for the weekend. The Lynn Bartons visited in town Sunday. Malen and Angelyn Mecham were in Kanab Thursday and Friday while he attended a road school. The program in Sacrament meeting was presented by the Indian students and the Bybec family. Talks were given by Sandra Dodge, Carol Vicentl, Clive, Thelma and Gary Bybee, Bishop Lowell Mecham, and Max Stewart. Songs by Merna Curley and Elsie Long, Galen and Collette Rose. The Clive By bees and Gary were to the St. George Temple Thursday. Gary leaves May 21 for the mission home prior to his mission to Mexico. |
