Show Improvements Made At Hospital Many improvements have been made recently to the LDS Pangultch Hospital, according to hospital Superintendent D. Kern Owens. The improvements will bring it up to standards which qualify it for participation In the medicare program. A new sprinkling system for prevention of fires has been added. The attic space is being insulated to make the hospital building warmer In winter and cooler In summer, A new laboratory room has been added, bids have been accepted for new equipment to be Installed In It. A new anesthesia machine has been pur chased, and an emergency auxiliary power plant has been installed. In addition Pharmacy, Laboratory, Diet, and Records and Librarian c onsultant services are available. The various additions and Improvements make this hospital one of the best equipped of its sizo in the state. Starting January 1st, the rates for patient stay at the hospital have been adjusted to $34 per day in ward and $35 per day In semi-private room. The adjustments were made necessary because of the greatly increased cost of supplies, hiring of personnel, etc. |
