City Slates Both Democratic and Republican parties have fielded a full slate of candidates for the three posts going up for grabs In the forthcoming Panguitch Each party selected a slate made up of seasoned campaigners and so called "new blood." Tho Republicans have nominated two-time City Councilman Earl Roc for the post of Mayor, with M. Kay Hey wood, Incumbent Mayor, a twelve-year veteran in that post, running for one of the City Coun cil posts, and young businessman Charley Allen, a relative newcomer to the political lists trying for the other City Coun-cil job. On the Democratic side. Dr. Wallace G. Lee, whose previous political try was for a city post, running as an "Independent", has been nominated for Mayor, wlille Arthur Crosby, who had run for Sheriff, and young businessman Wayne Holman, representing the "new blood", will run for the two city council posts. Both Republican and Democratic nominating conventions were held on Thursday, October 11, with the Democrats turning out In numbers nearly equal to those of the Republicans.
