Show Morias Hall Buried At Escalante On 4th Funeral services for Morias Ensign Hall, 70, were held in the Escalante North ward chapel Aug. 4. Family prayer, Walter Stcffenscn; prelude and postlude music, Areola Gates; song "O My Father", Relief Society chorus; invocation, Earl Woolsey; speakers were Bishops Reeve3 Baker and Vernon Spencer, Earl Woolsey, Bishop Leland Haws, Bishop William Davis; musical selections by Bill and Dawn Griffin, and the Relief Society chorus sang "A-bide With Me"; benediction, Mack Steffensen, The grave was dedicated by Merlin Hall; burial was in the Escalante cemetery under direction of Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary. Mr. Hall died July 31 at the Panguitch hospital of natural causes. He was born Sept. 28, 1902 in Escalante to Joseph Tyron and Mary Merilla Plumb. Ho married Clarre Marie Walter on April 14, 1936 at Salt Lake Clty.e II was a member of th LDS Church; retired farmer, stockman. Forest Service employee. Survivors: widow; son, daughters, Merlin Joseph, Rock Springs, Wyo.; Mrs. Rulon (Merilla) Jolley, Cedar City; Mrs. Jerry (Lila Jean) McCur-dy, Panguitch; Mrs. Sherlene Cassels, Sprlngville; Mrs. Ray (Lillian) Shepherd, American Fork; Mrs. Chester (Arlene) Elmer, Denver, Colo.; stepsons and stepdaughter, Walter Steffensen, Hunter: Mrs. Marilyn Ross, Glendale, Calif.; 38 grand children, 2 great grandchildren ; sister, Mrs. Thirza Proctor, Panguitch. |
