Show American Education Week NOV. 10-16 "America has a good thing going its schools" Is the theme for American Education Week. Nov. 10 - 16. America does have a good thing going in its schools, and it faces a big challenge to keep It going and Improving. One of the keys to maintaining the strength of our American Ed ucation system ana overcoming Its weakness is open lines of communication with the public. Tie Pangultch-Hatch PTA wish to Invite all parents to attend the special meetings in the schools of our community during American Education Week. It will be an opportunity to observe the schools, ap praise them and offer support for necessary Improvements. There will be a sp clal play presented at tl.e PTA meeting Nov. 13, in conjunction with this special week. Our membership drive Is In full swing, and the response has been very good. We hope that all parenU vrlll Jots with ine intention oi Keeping informed as to what is going on in the schools, and what we as parents can do to support the school programs. We urge all parents to attend the Svmphonv Concert Oct. 31 at 2:00 p.m. THs wil' b? a choice presentation and we feel fortunate to have them In our community. |
