Show Hotch Happenings BY REV A LOWDER Our ward held missionary supper and party In the cultural hall Saturday evening, a nice program was enjoyed by a Urge crowd. Mr. and Mrs. Gall Wllcock attended the wedding reception In Pangultch Saturday evening and the dinner at the Fly ing M Cafe for Marlene H. and Robert Palmer. Visiting the Wilcocks over the weekend were Dave Brown, David Son eby, Ronnie Leavitt, Dennis Hopkins"!). Craig Hill, Steven Moore. Ken Laub of Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Prank Barney accompanied the Vera Barneys of Richfield to Idaho for several days to visit their new grandson and his brother and mother, Mrs. Ferril Barney. His daddy is in the service In Korea. The Wayne Wilsons and Kent Wilson spent a few days at Salt Lake where they attended sessions at the Tfemple. Leora and Bobby Sawyer are home after spending the summer at Bullfrog. Making trips to Cedar City were Francis and Dlann Porter, May Sawyer, Hope and Dennis Dalton, the Bob Evans family. Dune Larsen of Calif, arrived Saturday to visit Mrs. J. E. Riggs and his family who have been here for several weeks. The CUff Wiggins of Calif, visited the Wiley Huntingtons. Mr. and Mrs. Huntington and two girls visited Saturday in Kanab with their son Allen and family, Allen injured hit foot In an accident at the mill in Fredonia. Kent Sawyer entertained a group of friends at his 7th birthday party Thursday. Saturday visitors at the Sawyers were the Duncan Findlaya of Kanab and the Pat Dix family of Pangultch. Bill Duckett, Terry Menees. Karleta and Mary Beth Lowd-er and Lynne Huntington went to Cedar Tuesday and met Bill's son Billle Duckett who arrived by bus from Calif. to visit here this week. Visiting the Orson Barn-hursts Saturday were the Bert Barahursts of Cedar, they also visited Marcte Dutton. Other visitors at Marcie's Saturday were the Elmer Moosmans of West Jordon. the Beaumont Griffins of Escalante, the Jay Duttons of Kanab, the Homer Hut tons of Pangultch Mr. and Mrs Walter Kob-zeff visited over the weekend with her folks, the Elgen Sawyers. Mrs. Sawyer accompanied them back to Calif to visit for a few weeks. Deloy Evans of Colorado visited several days at the Lynn Evans'. Mrs. Delin Crofts and children visited the Evans' on Friday, Kevin and Kerry are visiting their grandparents this week. Visiting last week at the Eric Barahursts were the Leonard Marshalls of Salt Lake and the Stanley Marshalls. weekend visitors were the Ivan Oaken-sens of West Jordon, the Roy Scotts of Salt Lake and the Mervin Barahursts of Cedar. Sunday they all had a family get together. Mr and Mrs. John Mecham and Gary Don of Tropic visited at the Oliver Huntingtons. Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Huntington attended the wedding reception in Pangultch for Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Hey-wood. Bob Henderson visited In St. George Thursday with the Dick Harrisons. The Pete Workmans of Oram and the Keith Workmans of Cedar City visited at the George Workman home. Jim Jennings of the armed service spent part of his furlough here visiting the Howard Prince family at the Fish Hatchery. A Mexican dinner party was held at the Grant Daltons Sunday evening In honor of their I wedding anniversary and their I son Brace's birthday. Out of town guests were Nolan Button and the Gib Clarks of Ka-(oontlnueu, Hatch 'continued) nab and LaRae Knglestead of Panguitch, IaRae made the cake for the occasion. The Gib 'larks. Bruce and Joe McNul-len went to Richfield Saturday to get Grant who has employment up by Provo. Weekend visitors at the Daltons were Clark, Jeff. Bill and Duke Evans of Salt Lake. Doris Gilles of Canada isvis- iting the Garth Heaps. Jo and Rodney Gunn and Charlotte Wilson went to Salt Lake Thursday to have Rodney's feet checked, he has the Citsts off and shoes with braces now Visiting the James Burrows were the Cal and the Mar Burrows families of Prcdonia and Merrill Burrows of Panguitch. Mr and Mrs. Amass Lowder of Springvi'.'e visited the Karl lipwders Sunday. |
