Show Season's Low Temperature Set As Winter Sneaks In Trees Need Tags U.S. FOREST SERVICE NEWS Except for a slight shower which occurred during the night of Sunday, Nov. 5, there has been little change in the weather this past week Our low temperature was a chilly 9 occurring on Friday, Nov. 3, and the high, 69', recorded on Thursday, Nov. 2. Precipitation measured for the week was .04 inches. Xmas Trees For Personal Use Christmas trees on a single permit basis may be cut in the Blubber Creek drainage on the East Fork of the Sevier River, Powell Ranger District, on the following days: Nov. 24 and 25 and Dec. 2, 9, and 16. All per sons interested in obtaining a tree must do so on the Saturdays indicated above. Permits and tags will be issued to in dividuals from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p m by a Forest Officer sta- tioned at the Intersection of the East Fork and Blubber Creek Road. Cost will be $1.00 for each permit |
