Show Lit. Club Meets The Panguitch Literary Club met at the North Ward Chapel August 7. Twenty-two members and seven guests were present. Program consisted of, Club song "Utah We Love Thee"; Prayer, Fenella Sevy; Club Creed, Tessle Talbot; Pledge of Allegiance led by Dora Clove, and a short talk on Americanism. Musical Program under direction of Roene Hous ton and Irene Hatch, four songs by Mary Hobson and Cecil Banaczynnski, uccompanied by Hope Truman ; Medley" Won't You Play a Simple Melody". "Ragtime Cowboy", and "We'll Let the Rest of the World Go By". Dellu Hatch, who recently returned from a trip to the World's Fair gave a report on her trip which was enjoyed by all. Beta Reid gave a musical reading "Spring Tonic." Reading, Susa Walker. "Mrs Cherk-upadis" Charity". Hostesses were, Myrtle Lynn, Ruth Tebbs and Myrtle Hay cock. |
