Jane Woolsey has daughter Clema Barney and three kids here from Page, and son Alvey Sherman and wife Laretta here from Imperial Beach. Calif. Hal Barker, Kate Porter and Mary Griffin went to Salt Lake. Glen and Coleen lmlay and family came from Kanosh to visit and fish The Frank lm lays had son Francis and fam ily of Oregon, and granddau gbter Kathy from New Mexi co. Earl and Nethella Woolsey had friends, Mr and Mis Wll Uam G. Shireffs of OJai, Calif and a friend of their s, Earl Foster, also of Calif Blllle and Minnie Davis had Al end Leda Mae Foster and family here from Tropic Billle and Larry Cbynoweth, Nelda Spencer and granddaughter Michelle. Deon Alvey and dau gbtsrs Janene and Raylene went to Panguitch, others hav ing business there were Hazel Haycock, Shlrlee Spencer, Iris Porter, Marlene, JUlyn and Ro bert Haws Stems and Fon Me I i ham. Marlene Haws aud kids, and Deon Alvey and kids went to the Hatch family reunion in the Tropic area. The descend ants of the Parley Coleman.s met at Blue Spruce for a reunion, there were 79 present and 30 more who did not make it. Richard and Mary Lynn Sid well and family moved to Calil Areola Gates took her mother, I sal i ell Spencer to Las Vegas to meet Geneal Chatterton who would take her on to Calif to visit husband Andrew. Iv an and Nelda Willis had visit ors; Gene and Doug Reed of Midvale, Wayne and Elsie Henderson of Burbank, Calif, and Alta Henderson of Cannon ville Lowell and Dorthy Willis have her brother, Dale Woolsey of Kearns. Klint Woolsey. his wife and two kids of Lay ton visited the Earl Woolseys Donald Shurtz of Bountiful is a guest of his cousin, Darrell Munson Lorell and Nelda Munson went to Salt Lake for Freight, Wallace Roundy accompanied them to visit family members and came home with son Vivian and family who are on vacation. William Mitchell rented his house to some oil people and went north to stay with his kids The Rol Porters have daugh ter Marie Griffin, her two girls and one of Haws Porter's daughters. The horse races In Panguitch were interesting to many folks here; Stan Lis ton's horse took a first place and Blake Robinson's a second Bruce Burr and Lincoln Lyman went fishing in Wayne County and sent word they would not be home as long as they were catching six pound fish. The Grant Spencers were surprised to have son Donald come home for a 30 day furlough, he is stationed in Alas ka. Another son, Keith has his time finished in the service and has an attractive offer to work on the police force of El Paso, Texas. Neta Shirts came from Bryce and brought a co-worker whom she did not identify. John and Lola Zenz had Dr. Ernest Fre ducks, his daughter Vivian Chritchley and two kids from Florida. Vera Thurber was a speaker in the South ward Sacrament meeting, so were Russel Wilson and President Chase Shurtz. Dahl Llston and Wayne Pollock sang accompa nied by Jan Llston The North ward speakers were Warren and Kathleen Woolsey. The town is planning a celebration for the 24th; a parade at 10 a.m. followed by a program, a children's dance at 2 p.m followed by children's races, then a Little League hall game, then adult sports, and h dance at 9 p.m. In the high school gym Everyone is invited to attend.
