Show Charles William Bailey Buried At Escalante On May 4th Funeral sevices for Charles William Bailey, 90, were held May 4 in the Escalante North ward chapel. Family prayer, Harvey Bailey; prelude and postlude music. Areola Gates; invocation, Hal Shurtz; song, "Beautiful Isle Of Somewhere" Singing Mothers; talk, Pres. J. Clyde Spencer; solo, "Beyond The Reef," Gloria Bailey; talk. Wallace Roundy; remarks, Bishop Vernon Spencer; song, "Going Home," Singing Mothers; benediction, Lorin Cot-tarn; graveside prayer, Dee Haws. Burial was in the E'scal-ante Cemetery under direction of Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary. ' Mr. Bailey died April 30 at his home after a lingering illness. He was born July 14, 1876 in North Ogden, a son of John and Deslimonia Jamima Rose Bailey. On Feb. 2, 1903 he mar ried Mary Alice Shurtz in Escalante, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple; she died March 12, 1967. Mr. Bailey was a stockman. Survivors: sons, daughters: Gail. Mrs. Delia Christensen. Hugh, foster son Pratt Gates, all of Escalante; Mrs. James (Wanda) Houston. Mrs. Clinton (Helen) Schow. Salt Lake City; Mrs. Vance (Fay) Fields, Ft.
