Show Cannonville News Notes VIOLET RAE RUOm Missed last week the visit of Eldon Palmer at his father's home Velma Palmer took John to Escalante for a medical appointment Friday. Saturday Rex Palmer came for his wife and visited with his father. Romona Fletcher went to Marysvale to stay with her sister LaDonna for a few days before going on to Orem. Dennis Jensen visited his wife and daughter at the She rman Davis home. The college kids from St. George were home for the weekend. Gary Clark, Shirley Davis and Wayne Reynolds. Visitors at the Lark Reynolds were his mother Maud, the Jim Reynolds family and Dorothy Sudweeks. Louise Mangum went to Las Vegas for funeral services of an uncle. Open house was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Clark on Sunday. Those present were the Kay Clarks, the Eugene Quilters, Ken Goulding and Minnie Smith of Hen-rieville; Mrs Alaska Richards of Tropic; the Ivan Willis' of Escalante; Doyle and Gary Clark, the Marlon Clarks. the J. M. Neilsons, Daisy Johnson, the C. Angus Baldwins, Mrs. Fern and Alta Henderson, Mrs Alice Dunham, the Clele and the Aerial Fletchers, the George Thompsons and son Joe, the Don Mangums, from here The Clarks are leaving Oct. 3rd to spend the winter in St George. Best wishes go with them on their Temple work. Guy and Beverly Thompson spent the weekend with his parents. Sue went back with them for a few days. Laurie Holley and Rachel Thompson went to Salt Lake on Sunday to meet Rayda Barton. Ira and Julia Elmer went up north on business. Visitors at the Clele Fletcher home were son John and Nedra Spafford. The Afton Button and Donald Heaton families spent Saturday at the Kendall Dutton home. Sunday the Don Aliens, the Mel in and Kendall Dut-tons went to Page, Arizona. John and Amy Clarke were in town Saturday, they brought their daughter to Cedar City to college. Sherlene Feltner is going to business school in Salt Lake. |
