Show Tot Killed In Truck Accident Eddie Clark Dunham, two-month-old son of Edgar Lee and Gloria Clark Dunham of Cannonville, was killed when the pickup truck driven by his mother went out of control on Utah State Highway 54 and plunged down an embankment about six miles west of Escalante, about 3:30 p.m. Friday, January 6th. Mrs. Dunham's aunt, Allene Riddle, 54, of Henrieville, who was riding in the truck with them, suffered many bruises and minor lacerations. Mrs. Dunham, 21, suffered a broken pelvic bone, and severe leg lacerations. Garfield County Sheriff Keith Fackrell and Utah State Highway Patrolmen Jim Reynolds and Otho Bulkley made an investigation at the scene. The truck driven by Mrs. Dunham was on the way to Escalante when it went off the road striking the gravel shoulder on the right side, It then swerved across the road and went down an embankment. Mrs. Dunham was thrown clear. The baby and Mrs. Riddle were wedged In the truck cab, and it took about forty-five minutes to extricate them. All were rushed to Panguitch hospital for trentment.
