Show Hotch Happenings BY REV A LOWDER The program In Sacrament meeting was given by the youth of our ward. Talks were by Carolyn and Charlotte Wilson. Dennis Dalton and Stanley Huntington; piano solo by Janice Rlggs Janell and Doris Barney. Bonnie and Michelle Ktggs and Carol Wilson graduated from Primary Dale Porter of Provo and Dunk Larsen of Ogden visited Mrs Larsen and children and Mrs J E Rlggs, they took some furniture to Ogden for the Larsens. Visit mi: at the Jesse Wilsons were the Russell Wilsons of Sa lina. and at the Frank Barneys were the Ferrll Barneys of Nevada. The Don Heaps of Escalante visited the Garth Heaps and took more furniture back. The Wynn Tureks and Gene Wilsons from Dixie visited in town. Visiting the Gale Wilcocks Saturday were the Garn Wilcocks and Mrs. Wllcock's sister of Kanab. Lowell and Phyllis Huntington of Texas visited In town Saturday. Stanley Huntington and Dennis Dalton went to St. George to seek living quarters, they will attend Dixie college. Grant Dalton was home for the weekend, the Gib Clark-of Kanab spent the weekend with him The Wiley Huntlngtons spent several days fishing at Pine Lake with the Carl Farnsworth family of Pangultch. The Karl Lowders left Wed nesday for Oregon to visit their son and family, the Jess Lowders. Mrs. Grant Dalton and Pamela accompanied them as far as Fortuna, Calif, to visit the Pete Childers. The David Sawyers and the Garth Heaps visited in Cedar Saturday. The Duncan Find-lays of Kanab visited the Sawyers one day last week. Mrs. Arthur Sawyer has been In the Cedar hospital for some time, we are happy she is feeling better. The Lyle Sawyers of Pangultch and the John Sawyers of Cedar visited at the Arthur Sawyers Sunday. Tueaday the Nile Sawyers went to Salt Lake to visit and take Rodney to the hospital to have casts put back on his legs. Visiting the Leland Rlggs family last week were Dean and Dot Clark and children of Full-erton, Calif., Joseph Kresscoff of Colo.. Teresa Weeks of Ta-coma. Wash.. Zelma Gordon of Idaho Mrs Rlggs has been In Tropic several times last week on business Vay Sawyer of Kanab visited the Arnold Sawyers during the weekend 1 He Roy Scotts of Salt Lake and the Mervin Barnhursts of Cedar visited at the Eric Barnhurst home Layne Burrows returned to Pangultch Saturday after staying here with his grandparents, the James Burrows, and working for Duke Aiken on the farm. Sunday visitors at the Burrows were the Gayle Burrows and daughter of St. George. Kent Sawyer celebrated his 8th birthday Friday with a party. Cherlyn Rlggs of SL George visited last week with her grandparenta, Mr. and Mrs. Or-las Rlggs. Theora Heap and Ruth Wilson went to Las Vegas and brought their mother to her home in St. George and she passed away a few hours after her arrival at her home. |
