His father, Douglas Mclnelly had been up on the weekend to see him. Vernon and Hazel Griffin had small son Allen in the Panguitch hospital for two days being treated for Intestinal flu, he is home now feeling better. Hazel said Kathy Porter Goulding was In the hospital feeling rather rough. Blake and Gurena Robinson, Darrell and Dlanne Alvey went to Salt Lake to Dr. Henrle. Darrell had his arm checked and was told it is healing nicely but be will nave to use it more. Gurena had her back x-rayed and found a deteriorated disk, they recommended a steel brace to relieve the pres sure, so they had her fit with a suit of armor. We had other Citizens in Salt Ljfrl City; Don and Judy Kelly, Wayne and lone Barney, and Marjle Spencer took a car load of girls up for a State FHA convention and Evelyn Lyman was elected to the office of first vice president Congratulations Evelyn. She is the fourth girl from here to hold a State office, her older sister Joyce, Dot Alvey and Marlon Shurtz. Jim and Erma Gates went to Santa Clara for the wedding reception of Roberta Graf, daughter of Sylvan and Sylva She exchanged marriage vows Feb. 28 in the St. George temple with David Decow of Henderson, Nevada. Jim and Erma were the only ones of Syl-va's family to attend. Jim went to the doctor who said he could cut down to one pill a day now and go back to work. Bernice Wilson is home after spending nine days in the northern part of the State and Idaho. She went for the funeral services of a brother-in-law, J. Vivian Nye, 71, who passed away with cancer. She went as far as Provo with Russell Wilson who was here for his Aunt Zelma's services. The viewing was in Montpelier, Idaho and burial In Paris. Bernice visited her parents in Logan and other relatives In the area. Bill and Clorene Vidrlne went to Provo so Clorene could be treated by a dental specialist, she has to be hospitalized. The North ward held another budget banquet for all auxiliary organization officers and their wives. Don't forget the March homecoming held Saturday, 15th. Hal and Myrna Barker and family came from Salt Lake to visit Nell Barker and the Arthur Mclnellys. Ron and Linda Mecham and family spent several days In Phoenix. Les Johns and family flew to Oklahoma to visit while the mud here la too deep to work. The Reed Wooleys have son Neal and family here, Neal just returned from Viet Nam. The Mayo Roundys have been caring for some of their grandklds, Louise's daughter Brenda Rasmussen came for them on the weekend. Dale Wilson came home for the weekend and brought Jo Christensen who put on a houseware party Jo went back with Jim Alvey who said she was the only one who knew where he was going.
