Show Local and Society PANGUITCH LITERARY CLUB ELECTION PARTY The Panguitch Literary Club held its banquet and election party at the Flying M Cafe on Fab. 17th. President Celesta Talbot presided and conducted. Poem, "Birthday Prayer" and letters from Eleanor Bruhn and Dora Clove were read by I areata Yardley. CTub song, "America The Beautiful" led by Bell Cooper and accompanied by Ruth Hemic Club prayer and blearing on the food by Myrtle Slack. Pledge of Allegiance lad by Elfa Tabbs. Toast-Master Irene T. Hatch gave a talk on Friendship and Love. Songs "Melody Of Love" and "Galway Bay", sung by Verda Tebbs and Myra Miller, accompanied by Ruth Henrie. Stories of Abraham Lincoln were read by Delia Hatch. Piano selections by Ruth Henrie. Reading, the legend of St. Valentine and My Country read by Alta Talbot Song. "Sweetest Story Ever Told", by Bell Cooper and Pearl Henrie. accompanied by Ruth Henrie. Reading "Song of America'" and "America, Glorious Union of States", by Susa Wallker. Iola Beckstrom was put in as the new president, with Amelia Woodard vice president. Each received a beautiful bouquet of red carnations. Hostesses were Celeste Talbot, Lareeta Yardley and Mae Hatch |
