Show CANNONVILLE MAE TWITVHELL Joe and Rae Hughes have moved to Grand Canyon for the winter So I decided to write a bit of news. Rae will take over again when she gets back I'm sure. Ira and Julia Elmer are In Ogden for a month while Ira has surgery on his eye. They are staying with Beth and family. Dennis and Sherron Jensen have moved back to Utah from Georgia. Dennis was stationed there in the Army. They have plans of living in Orem while Dennis continues his schooling. Sherron and baby will stay here with her parents while Dennis Is finding a place to live and getting things settled there. Don and Merle Allen and family have moved back to Mes-quite. Nevada. We sure enjoyed having them live here this winter. Walt (Curtle) Henderson and family have moved here from Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. C. Angus Baldwin are In St. George working In the Temple. They plan on staying there for two months. Tad and Beverly Davis have been vacationing In Hawaii according to Bev's parents, the Hobart Feltners. As Bev describes it, they are having a ball. The Curt Pitts and daughter have moved here from Marys-vale and are living in the Alma Dean Fletcher home. Betty Nelson spent last week in Salt Lake with a brother who was ill. Vaughn Twitchell was In Provo having his eyes checked by a specialist. Wen-dall Palmer and family of St George were here visiting his father John Palmer last week Bp George and Ada Thompson made a business trip to Salt Lake Garda Davles and Maureen Wayman were In Santaquln for the funeral services of Garda's sister Bula's husband Roy Vorhees By the way. Garda had an unexpected visitor at her house In the wee hours of the morning the other night. She heard a noise on the front porch and decided to investigate. She turned the porch light on and opened the door to see who was there and came face to face with a bull. What happened then Is anybody's guess News of our boys in the ser vice. Nell Johnson is stationed in San Diego. Calif, in the US Navy. John Fletcher is stationed in Kentucky driving or learning to drive a tank. Our son Craig Is in Okinawa. He Is a supply clerk, likes Army life, is homesick, and sends every one of his friends in this area love and Hi. The program in Sacrament meeting was furnished by the Aaronic Priesthood under the direction of Bill Nelson. |
