Show The Word From Boulder ALICE ALVEY We're having cold windy weather again but it's just what we expect this time of year. It's a good time to stay indoors and tear rug rags and do up quilt blocks A few impatient ones just can't wait and have to start raking, etc. The Lorin Moosmans went to Provo for the ball games and for Ixrin to see bis ear doctor again. Terry Hall had to go to Panguitch for stitches in his head after he fell a gainst a picket fence cutting himself Laona Lyman went to Idaho Fa!!:; to attend funeral service! for her brother Lloyd Cleverly who died in a Salt Lake hospital following heart surgery last week Mrs. Harri son took Pamela to Salt Lake tor surgery on the 7th Bruce Wilson called Donna Jean at midnight 011 the 1st from 111 and said he had found an apartment so she took the kids and left next morning at 5 00 a.m. Marilyn Lyman and Linda Ormand went to the F-HA convention in Salt Lake over the weekend. The l.cFair Halls went to Richfield last week on business, and to pick up their touring car which they had painted blue Relief Society was postponed a day so relatives and friends could attend funeral services for Klma Mclnelly in Escalante on Tuesday. Peggy Orm-and celebrated her 14th birthday in Escalante last week with friends. Recent visitors were scarce and far between, Dora Wright had her cousin and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Herber Thomson of Riverside, Calif, as guests for several days. Kerry Kelly visited with Maudean Jepsen over the weekend. Neal Jepsen took a hard fall Sunday and was pretty sick for a few hours. Perry Davis and a friend from Calif, were visitors at the MC LeFevres. Ordell and Ethyl Alvey of Kanab were overnight guests at the Otto Haws home, they had Arthur Alvey with them. He has been in Arizona with Sterling's family for several months. He went back as far as Panguitch with them to stay with Ruby and Jim Myers a few days then go up north 'o see the other kids. Lorin Moosman is building a new bedroom on the south side of his house, the Vern Hansens are doing some painting and fixing up in preparation for some special company. The Wrights are still working on their place, Obe plans on hauling gravel and other building material with the truck he brought home.
