Henrie and three sons of Los Angeles are spend-Ing a three week vacation with Mrs. Ruth Henrie. The George Proctors report the arrival of a grandson on August 20th to Hyrum and Colleen of Salt Lake. Mrs. Proctor has gone to the 'City to help welcome the new baby. Word was received Wednesday morning of the arrival of a daughter to Mr.- and Mrs. Jed Henrie of Salt Lake. Three brothers and a sister will be on hand to greet her home. This is grandchild No. 23 for c the J. Usher Henries. I Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lee of 8 Thatcher, Arizona visited with jt Dudley Proctor and Mrs. Hans Ipson., Mrs. Maud Lewis of Orem and heridaughter Mildred of Salt Lake spent a few. k days with Mrs Woodruff Johnson. The W.f Earl Marshalls have returned Ifroni a trip East where they visited the World's Fair and witnessed the pageant at Hill;Cum6rah. The (George Dalys' of Salt Lake spent a week 'with the Marshalls and enjoyed he local fishing. Beatrice Hurst of .Morgan-town, Vf. Virginia visited last Thursday at the home of her brother the Bill Hursts. Eleanor Jean WhornhamT of Salt Lake, ' a niece Of Mrs. Hurst, and Mrs. Hurst's sister and husband, the Presley Whorn-hame-of Cedar City were also visitors. The Vernon Reids report the birth of a new grandson, born August 22 in Orem to J. E. and Rosemary Christensen. Jimmy Young and wife of Salt Lake spent last week with his mother Mrs. Grace Young. He took the family over to Cedar City to visit Linden and Annette Hatch. Jimmy and his wife are moving to Columbus, Ohio. Granddaughters Diane and Janet Miller of Salt Lake visited for a week with Velta Miller, they are the daughters of Mrs. Carletta Miller and the late Lt. Robert Miller. Mrs. Mil-ler came down for' them and spent the weekend; she is teaching mathematics at one of the new high schools in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Art Houston visited over the weekend with Velta Miller and the Quince Houstons. |
