The Ellis LeFevres made a weekend trip to Salt Lake and Provo and visited son' Jimmy who is doing very nicely. Mayo Rich and Afton Pollock attended a teachers workshop at BYU last Friday. Edith Jol-ley, Margaret Mecham and Rachel Ahlstrom visited schools in Loa to observe new teaching programs. The Leisure Houre club met at Ramona Millet's Thursday. Mabel Ott entertained sever' al friends at a quilting. The Earl Jolleys have a new car, they made a weekend trip to Provo to visit with Earl and Edith's families: Joye Williams, Sandra Ott, Richard Clark and Leon Stew art were speakers' in Sunday Sacrament meeting, the theme being the missionary program; The Larvin Pollocks made a weekend trip to Salt Lake to have Billy's eye checked. The Vernal Shakespear family spent the weekend in Salt Lake with daughter Ann and saw her off on the Jet as she left for Scotland. The Jay Shakespeare of Cedar City spent the weekend at the Alton Shakespear home. Owen and Lucy Shakespear were home for the weekend. The Lyman EckeVslys, Mrs. Liza Mae Winn, Thella Delong, Oscar and Hilda Dutton, Vola Marshall, Irene Heaps visited at Minerva Duttons and attended the wedding of Georgia Dutton and Lark Flannigan Saturday evening. Thelma Jolley is home after visiting daughter Afton in Cal. Ronald Adair entertained at a pizza party Saturday night. Glen Jolley will give his mis-son report in church Sunday. Paul Turner will "meet with persons interested in Scouting on March 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the church. March 21 will be stake clean up day at the Stake farm. All priesthood holders should be at the church 9 a.m. and bring tools. |
