Pole Griffin and a friend visited n town recently at the Doyle Moosmans. The MIA and Primary had Valentine parties on the 11th. Dorthy and Lcona Lyman and Donna Jean Wilson have been quilting this winter. Lcona had Truman helping her. Our regular work meeting -was held on the 11th in Relief Society. A quilt was done for LaRcna Hall and dinner was served by Uvada Moosman and Alice Alvey. A Mr. Woody Miller from Texas has leased land from almost every rancher here and we're all hoping oil, etc. will-be found somewhere to boost our economy some how. Lenore LeFevre came home from Calif, last week. She got a car while she was thero and drove it home alone from Santa Ana. She stopped in Henderson, Nev. to see her sister Clela Littlefield and In St. George for a short visit with daughter Sharon. The weather stays dry and cold. Men arc keeping the trail hot into the lower country checking ponds and tanks to be sure the cattle are getting water. |
