Show TROPIC TOPICS ELLA ADAIR Weekend visitors in town were W. T. Jolley, daughters iIrs. Zella Hill of Salt Lake ',and Mrs. Alta Simmons of Los Arjgcles; Mrs. Warren Losee of Piovo. Mrs. 'LaVel Baugli is home after spending two weeks in Santa Fe, N. M. with her parents, her parents and aunt returned here with her and nlso visited the Louis Hal-Jocks at Bryce Canyon. The Royal Alveys and the Wallace Otts were in Richfield last week; Ora Brink-erhoff, Louise Shakespear . and Thclma Jolley were Cedar City visitors. Elise Ott and Giovonna Sudweeks spent the weekend in Greehriver with their husbands and friends. Preston Shakespear has a new grandson born to his daughter Faunda Mounteer. Verlyn Munson is visiting with her parents. Emily Pollock is a patient in the Panguitch hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Allen are parents of a baby boy born May 19th. The LaMar Shakespears are building a new home in Tropic. A musical program was presented by a youth group in Sacrament meeting under the direction of Jenny LeFe-vre, James Munson and Marian Shakespear, Afton Pollock was the reader. Gregg Pollock graduated from Primary Sunday, he and Billy Pollock were ordained Deacons. Having Dirthdays last week (Were Raymond Brinkerhoff, Lela Rae Pollock and Gregg Pollock. Junior class members en tertained the seniors and faculty at the annual Jr-Sr banquet May 18th; Mrs. Thelma Jolley, Mrs. Marian Smith and Mr3. Delpha Rose assisted the class with their meal. The annual BVHS Fashion Show was presented on Monday evening. |
