Show The Word From Boulder ALICE ALVEY We didn't have a White Christmas but will have a White New Year day. The way it's coming down now we may be snowed in. Santa managed to get here to bring the kids a treat at the church on Christmas Eve. They all took part in a program for parents and others. The Heber Poulsons had 6on Elvon and wife Utona, and girl Sherry Morgan and her family as guests over the week end. The Vera Hansens visited their girl Delorcs Cook in Cedar and brought their other girl Anna Lee home for the holidays. She came from Cal-if. where she's teaching school. The Max Behunin's son Far-Ian and family came for a couple of days from Kanob. Dean Shurtz came from Hawaii to visit relatives here and in Escalantc. He brought his sons Gary Dean and Raymond from Phoenix too. The Umeron Peterson's son Jimmy came from up north for a day but didn't bring his wife and baby as the baby had a bad cold. The Doyle Moos-man's had their girl Cleta Allen and family from Salt Lake. Clyde Ormand camo to visit with his folks, the Carter Or-monds, but spent most of his time in Escalante where the . girls are. Joe Covington was here from Arizona on business. The Otto Haws' and the Pat Hughs' spent a day in Panguitch and Richfield on business. The Leland Haws' and son Val went up north to spend Christmas with Beverly Rae Tucker and family. Burns Or-niond took his family to Orem to Blom's folks place. LeFair Hall went to Salt Lake to be with LaRena and the boys. Lorin and Uvada Moosman went to Provo to the Gerald Mathews'. Lorin had ear surgery there before Christmas and we're all hoping it will be successful. Dan Coleman is our new councelor in Sunday School. Marilyn Lyman and Linda Ormand have been sustained as teachers in the S. S. The speakers in Sacrament meeting were Renon Peterson and Dean Shurtz, Dean also sang accompanied by Cynthia Peterson. Mr. and Mrs. Smith Alvey and Sariah Alvey were visitors. |
