Sharon were promoted from Primary to the-MIA;- Janet LeFevre was released as Primary president and Del , Ray Pollock sustained as president with Helen Smith and Vertis Clarke as councilors. Kay Mangum was released as MIA activity councilor and Leon Stewart sustained in his place, Scott Munson was re- leased as secretary and Terry Griffin sustained in his place. Visiting at the Kerry Nelson's and attending their son Kim's missionary testimonial were the Ray Peterson family of Logandalc, Nevada, the Basil Nelson family of Calif., the Dennis Nelson family, the Foster Nelsons and the Paul Con-novers of Fcrron, and Mrs. Jeppson of Idaho. Several High Priests and their wives attended a Stake High Priests' mutton fry held in Upper Valley. Sonla Shakespear and Lynn Jolley visited in Cedar last weekend. Glenn and Doyle Jolley and the Rulon Jolley family visited at Thelma Jolley's home. Visiting during the week at the Benjamin Copes were Ad-ell Riggs and children and Ef-fel Riggs of Hatch and the Jay Mlckelson family of Nephl. Mrs. Faye Ott and family of Cedar, the Ken Mounteers of Midvale and the Bob Mounteers of Salt Lake visited with Mrs. Mabel Ott during the week. Minnie and Verdell Nielson visited In Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Starns Mecham of Escalante visited one day with Viva and Ira Mecham. Nile Richards of Payson visited recently with his parents, the T. E. Richards. Larry Adair of Cedar City visited his parents, the Arnold Adalrs, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Adair arc in Salt Lake on business. Beth Parks and children of Ogden and Gail Cloward from Spanish Fork visited the Ursel Otts the past week. Mr. and Mrs. John Lyle LeFevre were in Ely, Nevada last weekend. The Robert Read family has moved to Tropic. He is the new Seminary teacher. Visiting at the John Hatch home is Ethel's sister Fern Harris. |
