Show NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE TIMBER SALE, CANAAN MOUNTAIN, DIXIE NATIONAL FOREST, located within T. 36 S., in R. 1 E., and T. 37 S., in R. 1 E., Salt Lake Base and Meridian. ORAL AND SEALED bids will be received by the Forest Supervisor, Forest Service Building, Cedar City, Utah, at 2:00 p.m., Mountain Standard Time, June 28, 1966, for an estimated 7,830 M board feet of live and recently dead (sound sap-wood) timber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. The minimum acceptable bid per M board feet is: Ponderosa nine, $3.00; Douglas fir, $2.00; White fir, $1.00. Additional deposit required for slash disposal is $0.48 per M board feet of all species. In addition, there is within the sale area an unestlmated volume of all species older dead (unsound sap-wood) timber which will be paid for at a flat rate of $1.00 per M board feet. The prices bid for stumpage are flat rates subject to adjustment as provided for by rate redetermination provisions of the timber sale contract. The required bid guarantee is $700.00. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved.
