Show Hatch Reva Lowder A large number of our people attended Stake conference In Panguitch Saturday and Sunday. The Orson Barnhursts took their grandson Dennis Barn-hurst to a doctor In Kanab on Thursday. Sunday his parents, the Melvln Barnhursts of Las Vegas came and took him to Salt Lake where he underwent surgery for mastoid of the ear. Orson accompanied them to Salt Lake. The Wallace Heaps of Cedar came Friday and took Mrs. J. E. Riggs, Ivor Rlggs and Mrs. Oscar Larsen and sons to Richfield. Mrs. Rlggs, Ivor and Mrs. Larsen and sons visited In Tropic one day last week. The Homer Duttons of Cedar spent the weekend with Mar- cie Dutto; the Jay Duttons of Kanab were; Sunday visitors; they were all sporting new cars. The Iddo Wilsons, the Jim Jarvis' and baby of Orem visited the first part of last week at the Paul Wilson home. Dick Harrison went to St. George and brought daughter Diana Gale home for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Evans were here for the weekend from his job in Zion. Others here from their jobs were Ed Turek, Earl and Larry Sawyer, and Eric Barnhurst. The Boy Scouts and their leader Russell Wilson, also Lay-ton Barney and James Burrows made an overnight trip to Lake Powell Friday. Mrs. Arnold Sawyer visited her children at Salt Lake last week. She brought her granddaughter Verene back to visit for a week. Friday Mrs. Vay Sawyer and Vaelyn came for the weekend and visited her mother Reva Lowder In the hospital. (Yes I'm still In here, feeling some better, hope I'll soon be home.) Mrs. Ida Winters and sons accompanied Vel- ta from Salt Lake; her parents of Ordervllle met her here and took her there to visit. Verene went home with her mother. Evan Wilcock and Jerl Jensen of CSU spent the weekend with his folks, the Gale Wil-cocks. Mrs. Larriond Davis and children of Panguitch were overnight visitors Friday at the Wllcocks; while here Dwayne Davis broke his' arm and was taken to the Panguitch hospital for treatment. The MacRay Julanders and Johnnie of Panguitch took Betty and Lynne Huntington to Kanab Friday to baby sit with the Allen Huntington children while they and the Julanders went to Las Vegas on business. Valeene Sawyer and Don Woodmansey returned here Friday from Calif.; Sunday Don left for his AFB in Nebraska. Phil Burrows spent Sunday and Monday home with his family. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. John Mecham of Tropic visited the 0. Huntingtons and Mrs. J. E. Riggs. Thursday the Pat Dix family of Panguitch visited the Huntingtons while Pat sold cars or tried to. Elgen Sawyer visited in Hurricane a few days with his sister, Mrs. Rosy Isom. Mrs. Max Haney and family visited In Cedar,' City Friday. Bruce Dalton won first place in the Javelin throw at Dixie Saturday. Mrs. Grant Dalton took Dennis to Cedar Friday to get the braces removed from his neck, Mrs. Lucille Evans accompanied her; Kirk Evans returned here with them for the weekend. The Gib Clarks of Kanab visited the Daltons Friday and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Don Heap of Cedar were overnight visitors one night last 'week at the Garth Heap home; weekend visitors were the Ronald Sawyers of Cedar. The Roy Shakespears of Tropic visited the David Sawyers on Sunday. Sandra Gillette spent the weekend with Gloria Burrows. |
