Show Henrieville By Virginia Jolinsou Zella. Willis received word that her brother Leonard Mea-cham of Richfield is in the hospital recovering from a heart attack. Thora Part4er is recovering from plural pneumonia, her family went over to see her and stayed Saturday evening with her parents, the James Hughes of Panguitch. Dorian Johnson had to have medical care on Saturday. Tom Smith is under the doctor's care and feeling better. Ruth Willis is still in Provo and released from the hospital, but isn't doing very good, her lungs are giving her- a lot of trouble. Harry Johnson received a head injury in the ball game with Panguitch Friday at BV, but he is getting along alright. The Ellis Johnsons brought their daughter Melba here and on to Escalante to be interviewed by Pres. Spencer on her return off her mission. Sho is staying in Provo with her sister Norma, and her parents returned to Greenriver, they reported that Lovisa Johnson is getting along fine. The Eugene Quilters are now living in Bountiful. Jane Hague, Janet Goulding, Mildred and Milton Rose were all home for the weekend. Shan-na Goulding took daughter Jane back to Cedar. David Rose and son Milton took Max to Salt Lake on the weekend to enter the mission home on Monday. The Elmo Bushnells and Ruby Moore attended church in Escalante Sunday where Elmo blessed the baby of Brent and Marie Durfee, Marie served them a turkey dinner. Oscar Dutton visited at the Deloye Duttons over the weekend. The Ora Shafers had a family get together Sunday with .Terry" and Dave Millett of Cedar, Lyllian and Olaf Shakes-pear of Tropic. Rhoda gave her daughter Donna a shower with open, house on Monday,. . she received a lot of lovely presents." We have had more snow and rain which is always followed by a cold, north wind. The Bryan Johnsons went to St. George Saturday and all of their family were there, Linda and Carl White and Norman from Cedar, they all met at Kathy and Karl's home. |
