Show I. H. Dickinson Dies At Santaquin Isaac Hyrum Dickinson, 92, Santaquin, died Dec. 28 at his home of causes incident to age. He was born May 26, 1873 in Santa Clara, Washington County, a son of James and Sarah Jane Snyder Dickinson. He married Bertha Hatch on May 31, 1899 in the Manti LDS Temple. An active member of the LDS Church, he served a mission in the Eastern States in 19004)2, and a stake mission in the Panguitch Stake in 1921-23. He was a member of the Panguitch Stake High Council and was Sunday School Superintendent there. He moved to Santaquin in 1923, and served in the Sunday School superintendency of the First Ward, and as a member of the Santaquin-Tintic high priests quorum. Survivors: widow; sons and daughters: Kenneth Dickinson, Mrs. John (Henrietta) Tolman, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Edwin (Maralta) Talbot, Panguitch; Mrs. Milton (Trilma) Jarvls, Mrs. Cyrus (Dot) Tolman, Mrs. Claude (Nellie) Nelson, all of Santaquin; Mrs. Leon (Lilas) LeFevre, Globe, Arizona.; 34 grandchildren, 71 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Orilla Wilkinson of Kearns. Funeral services andburial were in Santaquin." Attending funeral services on Dec. 31st, besides the Edwin Talbot family, were Lula Dickinson, A-melia Woodard, and Amelia Smith. |
