Show The Word From Boulder ALICE ALVEY The Cecil Grieners are the grandparents of a son born to Alan and Deana Worthen Nov. 12 in Pyson, Vllate went up to stay for a few weeks. Cecil's sister and husband, the Alden Weilmunsters of Calif, were hcie on a visit recently. Max and Veda Behunin went to St. George for some bulls last week. LeFair Hall went to Kanab to a BLM meeting on thel2th. Lcona and Truman Lyman spent the 10th in Richfield on post office and other business then went to Wayne Co. on the 11th to hunt up come geneology, Hebcr and Neta Poulson spent several days in Salt Lake visiting daughter Sherry Lee Morgan and family. Renon Peterson went to Provo for the funeral services of Lee Porter last week, The Richard Griffins spent a day in Richfield on business. Men are still hauling cattle out and bringing coal, salt, etc. back. The Jim Haws' took their family to the dentist in Richfield on the 15th. Tho Ivan Lymans went to Salt Lake and came home in a new car. Dorthy Lyman, Faye Jepsen, Nina Moosman, Elaine Roun-dy, LaRena Hall and Alene Haws attended the Parent and Teacher meeting in Escalante on the 11th. Several MIA officers and teachers went to the Stake Leadership meeting in Can-nonville. The Primary organization held a Stake meeting here for the presidencies recently. In Sacrament meeting Malen Mecham of Tropic, E.D. Haws and Earl and Nethella Woolscy of Escalante spoke. If anyone knows Fred C. Adams of Rialto, Calif. I'd appreciate it if you would have him get in touch with me. It looks like winter has come today. We've had a little rain this week and it stays cloudy and cold. Mrs. Harrison took the 1st grade school children to Escalante to the TB clinic on the 15. Uvada Moosman went too. Emma Jane Hansen took, her young grandson Russel. Cook to Escalante to Dr. Kazan for an infected toe on tho 16th. |
