Twila Mclnelly is really thrilled over the success of her ear operation, she can hear things she has not been able to hear for twenty years. Those we heard of going to Panguitch for medical checkups were John and Lola Zenz, Ora Schow, her daughter Sharon Carlson and Judy Phillips. Blake Robinson took his wife Gurena for examination and she is scheduled for more surgery. Coleen Imlay, Orilla and Lucille Cowles and Mar-gene Stowe went to Panguitch and Rlcri field on business. Ivan and Nelda Willis have made several trips to Henrieville to help with Ivan's brother. Sears. The Blake Robinsons have a new grandson born to Blake Dee and Kathy'of Salt Lake. The local Riding Club met and held election putting Robert Liston in as president, Glen Luellen, vice president, Louise Liston, se6retary, Virginia Luellen, assistant secretary, Dar-rell Alvey and Pratt Gates as delegates, Melba Gates chairman of the finance committee. Robert and Louise, Liston made a business trip to Cedar City. Beth Woolsey and Ruth Lay had business In Richfield. LaVern Griffin had to go to Salt Lake for some training for his job so Mary went along for a little vacation, LaVern says that should do her another twenty years. LaVern Hamilton had a letter from son Roger who said he has made PFC. Wes is still in France doing ok. Danny Hardwick is here visiting, he almost had an acident; drove his car up tunnel hill until two wheels run off then he jumped out into atmosphere leaving his motor and lights on.
