Show PANGUITCH DISTRICT BOY SCOUT FUND DRIVE The annual Panguitch District financial campaign b-gan three montns ago, according to Frank R. Daly, district finance chairman. The Panguitch District's fair share of the council operating budget is $1525.00. Mr. Daly said that it is thq responsibility of the adults and leaders in a commuivty to make the program of Scouting available to all boys of the community. The money is needed for field service to Scouts and their leaders, advancement records, training, camping, etc. Tho Utah National Parks Council is one of the lowest per capita or per boy operating budget of any in the U.S. It takes $7 to keep a boy in Scouting in Utah while national coverage is $12 a scout. Parents, church and civic leaders, and others interested in boys are invited to help in the finance campaign. Mr. Daly said the drive should be completed by March 15th. |
