Show IIENRIEV1LLE VIOLA ROSE . Mr. and Mrs. Sears Willis left Sunday to spend the winter in St. George doing Tern-plo work. Norman Johnson, who is .attending electronics school In Salt Lake, spent the weekend home with his parents, the Bryan Johnsons. Some of our people have been employed by the movies. Bishop Harvey Chynoweth and wife Roxle left Monday to work; Harry Partner, Bar-ton Smith and Nephl Gould-ing returned to their carpent ering jobs down on location. Elsie Goulding has gone to Salt Lake to visit and help her daughter, Mrs. Wynona Henderson, whose small daughter underwent surgery but is making a nice recovery. Mrs. Ward Gibson and family of Hurricane visited her father Charles Francisco on Friday. Tho Ronald Stuard family is spending the week with her parents, the Leland Griffins. Ron has been stationed with the air force in Tokyo, Japan but has been transferred to i '" ' , c Nellis AFB near Las Vegas. Virginia Smith, Margaret Barker, Aleene and Ronnie Riddle were in Ogden Wednesday to attend the funeral of Allene's sister Idonna's husband Alfred Palmer who was shot while deer hunting. William and Nora Rose of Monroe visited relatives on Sunday. The ward YWMIA presented their Award Program in Sacrament meeting Sunday. We were happy to have Viva Mecham of Tropic, who Is tho stake Beekeeper, In attendance at' this meeting. Recent visitors at the My-' ron Willis home were Mr, and Mrs. German Goulding and son of Orem. Thora stayed for a few days to help her mothcrr who Is recovering from a broken arm. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Savage of Las Vegas visited In town Sunday. The Primary children enjoyed their Halloween party Monday afternoon; the MIA held their Halloween social in the form of a treasure hunt Tuesday; Relief Society members also enjoyed a Halloween social. Kay and Laura Clark were home from Glen City for the weekend. Virginia Smith reports that her daughter Inez has been In Water Flow, New Mexico, which is in the Southwest Indian Mission, for the past four months. She and her companion, along with their regular missionary duties, have been enjoying their teaching the Indian children in kindergarten. Shanna Goulding attended the State Nurses convention In Salt Lake, Jane accompanied her. |
