Show HIE WOK1) FROM 1JOULDER BY ALICE ALVEY Have seen more people than usual since I've been in the Post Office but nobody has told me a thing I could use for news. Some of them did notice I'd made a mistake a week or so ago when I put in tho paper that Dorthy Jean Tucker had a baby girl. Her name Is Alvey and how I ever forgot that name I'll never know. People who made trips were Burns and Hlom Ormond to Richfield with a load of cattle, Pole and Margie Griffin took daughter to Panguitch to Dr. Lee and then went on to Richfield to stay overnight and attend to some business. They also brought a load of supplies back for King's store. Otto and ldona Haws spent a few days at Salt Lake attending the Soil Conservation convention. Richard and Marilyn Griffin and Clyde and Irene King went to the Bull Show held in Cedar City, the Kings went on to Phoenix. He-bcr Poulson made a trip to Richfield for supplies for Ne-ta's store. Vcrn and Emma Jane Hansen and Anna Lee attended a wedding reception in Richfield. Several men and women attended Priesthood and Relief Society meetings In Tropic on Sunday afternoon. (continued on back page) BOULDER The MIA girls held a program Sunday evening at the homo of Dorthy Lyman. Tho girls parents were invited. Refreshments were served. On Saturday, Dec. 16th, the Boulder Ward Relief Society is holding a Kitchen Shower, for the new Church building. There will also be a Bazaar. It will start at 2:30 P.M. Everyone is invited to come. Also the movie of "The Robe", playing in Escalantc on the 8 and 9th is being played for the benefit of the Boulder Ward. AU proceeds will bo turned over to the Church Building Fund. Everyone is invited to come. There will be popcorn balls, candy, etc. sold at the show. |
