Ned and Allio T. Miller are visiting at the home of Mrs. John U Miller, they will go to San iTancisco after tho hunt on business before returning to Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Ruebcn E. Burgess and daughter Debbie from H Lewis, Wash, and the Hearld Smiths and daughter Kay of Salt Lake visited over the weekend at the home of Rueben's mother Mrs. Mabel Norton. The W. Earl Marshalls had their son Tom Marshall and Dr. Rodney Adams of Salt Lake here for tho weekend, both went back with a deer. Tho Bernard Henries had their daughter Sally from CSU and son Berdell and wife Pat from USU home for the weekend. Visiting the Henries on Monday and Tuesday wero Or-ville and Edith W. Hatch and three children of Salt Lake. Merle and Pauline Prince and family from Delta, Colo, are here visiting their folks, tho Rulon Princes and Frank Scvy until Friday. McCaleb of LI Cajon, Calif, are-visiting at tho home ot Mrs. Mary Lee. George and Kay Cnerring-ton oi urem spent the ween-end with Kay's folks, Mr. and Mrs. Mayo lUggs. Mr. and Mrs. Alton Talbot and Waldo Lewis of Salt Lake were hero for the hunt and to visit relatives and friends. Mrs. Judy Hcnrle visited at St. George with her parents the Ralph Petersons, her father is in the Dixie hospital receiving treatment for a broken .leg alter a mine accident. Mrs. Marie Veater, Mrs. Gean Sevy, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Myers and sons Jim and Ned D. of Salt Lake have been seen hero for the hunt; Ned D and wife remained at the Jim Ex-cell homo which also had Barbara and Don Marshall and children of Sandy join the activity. Dr. and Mrs. Fenn Nelson of Fullcrton, Calif, and Dr. and Mrs. S. E. Houston from Wodland, Calif, have been guests at the Frank Houston home. Cora and George Gardner, Kenneth Cooper, of Arvada, Colorado, the Frank Coopers of Calif, and the Don Bunkers of Pago have been visiting at tho homes of Frank Daly and Art Chldester. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Vlck-ers were here from Beaver visiting In town. Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Fitzgerald and son and the Channlng Jordcns of Omaha came hero for the hunt at tho home of their mother Mrs. Tillie Clark who has been visiting a while in Las Vegas with daughter Mary Alvey and family . Tho Haycock brothers aro reported to be here for tho hunt: Warren from DeweyvlUo and from Calif, are Harold of Hayward, Dick of Sacramento and Fred of Centervllle. Visiting Mrs. Velta Miller for the deer hunt were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Miller of Provo, Dallas Knapp, Richard Church and Lloyd Lyon of San Diego. Mrs. Dempster Davies reports a full house for the deer hunt: daughter Margaret and husband Jerald Elmer spent a week here from Calif, for the special hunt; for the regular hunt were the Milton Fullm-ers of Salt Lake, the Ray Da-vies of Mldvale, the Lloyd Lunds of Granger, the Keith Davies of Provo, Wayne and Calvin Davies of Redondo Beach, and Lawndale, Calif. Mrs. Lois Maloney was honored on her birthday Oct. 22 with a turkey dinner prepared by her daughters Helen and lone of Cedar City. Mrs. Mai-one received many cards and gifts from her family and friends. During the evening her daughter Vera Mansor of Weiser, Idaho called to wish her a happy birthday, also her son Mont from Mtn View, Calif, son Don and Don L. Jr also called. Those present wero tho Giles Bolanders, the Bob Lin-ford family, granddaughter Florence Englestead and her fiance Ned Kohler of Cedar City, the Vera Browns, the Ed Henries and Mrs Clara Ipson. |
